I Finally Built My Website. Here's Why That Took Forever. 🎉
A developer's journey from "I'll do it tomorrow" to "Oh wait, it's been 3 years"
// TODO: Build personal website // Added: 2021 // Status: Finally done in 2025 😅
I've been building websites for others, scaling systems, deploying code, fixing broken stuff at 2AM, learning shiny new tech... but somehow never got around to making my own site.
It's that classic story: "I'll do it next weekend."
Next weekend turned into next year. And then, well — here we are.
🤔 So, What Pushed Me to Do It Now?
Honestly? A mix of things:
- 🚀 I wanted a place to showcase my projects — not just links buried in GitHub.
- 📝 I've worked on some cool stuff, and it feels right to document and share it.
- 🏠 And let's be real: having a site just feels cool. Like a digital home.
💡 The Breaking Point
People kept asking: "Where's your site?"
And I was tired of saying: "Uhh... it's... coming soon." 🙃
🛠️ What You'll Find Here
This site is basically my online garage:
- 💻 Projects I've worked on (some clean, some duct-taped together)
- 📚 Occasional blogs on what I'm building, learning, breaking
- 🔥 Maybe some rants about backend stuff or frontend chaos
- 😄 And personal notes, like "why I tried going to the gym and still can't lift a cat"
🚀 What's Next?
We'll see. I might:
- 🧠 Write technical deep-dives
- 💭 Share random thoughts
- 🎮 Build weird side projects no one asked for
Or maybe I'll forget to update it for 6 months. Who knows. 🤷♂️
Thanks for reading this far! 🙏
If you're here early — welcome. You've seen Version 1.0 of the chaos.
